A leading technical service operation is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee its Durban/Pinetown branch and regional service network. This role requires a commercially strong leader with proven experience managing a profitable branch or technical service centre within a technical, engineering, or industrial environment.
You will be responsible for leading service technicians, managing branch administration, controlling inventory and parts, and ensuring exceptional customer service. A strong understanding of operational profitability, costing, planning, and business growth is essential.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience managing a branch, profit centre, or technical service operation
Strong commercial and financial understanding, including profitability and costing
Experience managing technical/service teams and regional support structures
Strong stock control, planning, and administrative management ability
Excellent customer relationship management and business development skills
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
Manage branch operations, technicians, administration, and stock control
Drive service quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability
Support business growth and service expansion
Work closely with sales teams to strengthen customer support and new business development
