Brand Development Ambassador Intern at Evernex

Storex (@StorEx (Pty) Ltd), one of Evernex latest acquisition is looking for a Brand Development Ambassador Intern.

StorEx specializes in the Support, Maintenance and Life-Cycle extension of medium size and enterprise level IT Hardware and Software Infrastructure. Our services include the support of Servers, Data Storage and Networking devices.

The role of a Brand Development Ambassador is to assisit and support the Brand Developer in all marketing and PR related activities and tasks within the company. 

Key responsibilities: 

BRAND MANAGEMENT/MARKETING:

• To understand the short and long-term marketing and communication objectives within the company and to support the Brand Developer in delivering these elements on time and as per the agreed marketing plan. 
• Assist the Brand Developer in planning, organising and executing industry events, internal and external company events and golf days.
• Proactively look for new marketing opportunities within the industry and strategize these with the Brand Developer. 
• Assist in preparing and monitoring project proposals, timeframes, schedules and relevant budgets.
• Assist in reviewing and analysing the results of marketing initiatives that have been implemented, to help identify areas of improvement. 
• Constantly liaise with sales to maintain awareness on market situations, potential threats and opportunities.
• To assist the Brand Developer with any other marketing requirement as and when called upon. 

PUBLIC RELATION/ COPY WRITING:

• Must be able to write across integrated media and social media platforms. 
• Assist in writing effective sales-driven copy for marketing materials across all channels. 
• Must be able to edit, rewrite and proof copy. 
• Assist in generating content ideas. 
• Assist in preparing internal and external marketing newsletters. 

Job requirements:

• Degree, Diploma or relevant qualification in Marketing Management, Public Relations, Copy writing or Communications Science
• Must Have Own Vehicle and Valid Driver’s License 
• Preferably someone that speaks fluent in Afrikaans and English
• At least one-years’ experience
• Computer literate: MS Office- Power Point, Excel, Word; Canva, MailChimp, SuveyMonkey 

Desired skills:

• Project management – must be able to handle multiple projects at once
• Team player – be able to brainstorm and work in collaboration with other members of the team
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
• Attention to detail- Proof reading capability is important as you will sometimes be partly responsible for final sign-off on company copy and communication materials 
• A proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude
