    Brand Manager (Mid Weight)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Brand Strategy and Planning

    • Contribute to the development and execution of annual marketing plans and 3-5 year strategic plans.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the brand strategy.
    • Execution of strong Flash plans across different channels, for different audiences and in line with different product/service categories.
    • 4 P’s marketing and brand trade marketing for a brand or category in the market with responsibility for executing excellent Flash plans.
    • Develop and execute the Brand strategy.
    • Evaluate, negotiate, select and manage outside resources necessary to execute the marketing plan where necessary.

    Campaign Design and Management

    • Develop & launch brand campaigns, in line with strategy & drive the brand vision.
    • Develop and implement content strategies for your product/service brand
    • Drive brand consistency and overall brand awareness across all campaigns, channels and to all relevant target audiences
    • Develop strong, clear campaign messaging that encourages the desired behaviour change.
    • Write strategic and creative briefs and evaluate creative work against the brand strategy and brief.
    • Build brand messaging with unique selling propositions to differentiate from competitors and incorporate into campaigns.
    • Monitor and analyse key marketing metrics (CPP, CPM, ), quality, and campaign performance.
    • Project manage marketing campaigns from initiation, brief to execution.
    • Create content like videos, copy for website, blogs, socials, case studies, product and articles, to drive content branding for owned channels.
    • Enhance brand awareness on digital, social and events platforms.
    • Evaluate, negotiate, select and manage outside resources necessary to execute the marketing plan where necessary.
    • Accountable for budget management and the delivery of KPIs and agreed targets.

    Market Research and Analysis

    • Analyse sales and market data to understand impact of campaigns on brand sales and help identify untapped opportunities for new product launches.
    • Gain/obtain customer and product usage insights, identify new opportunities, build customer personas through research, surveys and interviews.
    • Field visits to meet customers.
    • Develop market intel & research competitors to be proactive & market-responsive.
    • Drive and partake in any consumer research initiatives aimed at getting a more thorough understanding of who your customers are.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Work with the marketing Manager and 3rd party agencies (internal Creative, PR & Media) to create and implement all aspects of the annual marketing plans across the group.
    • Ongoing communication and presentations on campaigns and tactics to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage a junior brand manager and collaborate with the graphics team.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor or post-graduate degree / diploma with good results (preferably with a focus on Marketing)
    • Minimum of 4-6 years Brand Management experience required
    • Must have experience in any of these areas: Content marketing, Search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and social media marketing (SMM).
    • Experience in using eMarketing
    • Strong project management skills
    • Experience in using eMarketing software and Google Analytics
    • Fintech familiarity a bonus
    • Main market brand experience a bonus
