Job Summary
- This role involves selling and advising clients on medical insurance and medical aid products, with a strong emphasis on sales performance and client education. Candidates with insurance branch experience and an agricultural background will be well-suited due to client profile demands.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Sell and promote medical insurance and medical aid solutions
- Conduct needs assessments and guide clients through benefit options
- Handle new applications, upgrades, and member support
- Drive new business acquisition and meet monthly sales targets
- Assist with claims queries and liaise with providers
- Manage relationships with agricultural and rural clients
- Stay updated on healthcare legislation and product changes
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant degree / qualification
- Strong proven sales experience (insurance branch exposure preferred)
- Agricultural experience or relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- RE5 qualification (advantageous)
- Knowledge of medical insurance / medical aid products
- Excellent communication skills, especially in simplifying complex benefits
- High customer service orientation and strong administration skills
