Business Admin Learner | Finance at Novartis

Job Purpose

To support the Novartis South Africa finance team in their activities with a focus on business planning and analysis.

These learnership opportunities means that the succesfull candidates will complete the Business Administration qualification (NQF 4. ID: 61595) and do workplace experience with the workplace company whilst at the same time complete the portfolio of evidence as prescribed by the learnership qualification.

Major Accountabilities

• Support CFO and Senior BPA (Business planning analyst) in Budget and Financial planning activities including periodical revisions.
• Perform month/year end closing & reporting tasks in collaboration with senior BPA and FRA (Financial reporting and accounting) team.
• Build standard reports to support business performance analysis.
• Master data management
• Ad-hoc requests from the business
• Perform financial internal controls.
• Support other Finance functions when necessary

• Reliability, timeliness, and sense of urgency
• Internal customer satisfaction with quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of assigned tasks
• Successful implementation and adoption of digital tools to support Digital finance transformation.

Role Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s or 4-year university degree required preferably in Finance or related field.
• Chartered Accountant (Preferred)
