    Business Analysis Manager

    Role Responsibilites:

    The Business Analysis Manager is responsible to manage and monitor the both individual and project performance within the BA team. The Business Analysis Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring a framework of best practice which assists the team in achieving departmental and organizational goals. Additionally, facilitate communication between the organization’s business systems and its technology solutions to enhance systems quality, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • BCompt degree or BComm degree with majors in Accounting & Taxation preferable, or similar degree
    •  Project Management (Prince2 or other) certification preferable
    • Agile certification preferable
    • Understanding of ITIL preferable
    • Experience is running RAD analysis methodologies JAD, Prototyping etc essential
    • 7-8+ years’ experience within a Business Analysis environment
    • 4+ year’s experience in managing a team of Business Analysts  
    • Exposure within a Payroll/Human Capital Management/OHS environment would be advantageous

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the establishment of team structure and roles and ensure adequate resource and talent allocation.
    • Manage employee/team performance by setting objectives and performance metrics and standards and conducting performance reviews.
    • Monitor service requests and project progress.
    • Manage escalated project issues
    • Engage with key business stakeholders to identify changing business priorities and requirements and introduce new processes and technology to enhance the Business Analysis service offering.
    • Lead the development of feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, business case development and risk assessments for various technology projects.
    • Establish standards for Business Analysis, including methodologies, metrics, requirements and tools.
    • Ensure Analysts are adequately certified and/or trained
    • Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
    • Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
    • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
    • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
    • Create system design proposals.
    • Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system
    • programmers
    • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support
