Business Analyst - AI Automation at Hire Resolve

Overview of the role: 

• The Business Analyst – AI Automation will be responsible for enabling, delivering, driving the adoption of, and governing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Automation solutions across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements, redesign business processes, and implement innovative technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, decision-making, productivity, and business performance.

AI and Intelligent Automation 

• Maintain and manage the enterprise AI roadmap and implementation pipeline.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and intelligent automation to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement AI-enabled business solutions that support improved decision-making and productivity.
• Analyse and redesign business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.
• Deliver workflow and automation solutions from concept through implementation and adoption.
• Track and report on productivity improvements, process efficiencies, risk reduction, and cost savings.

AI Solutions 

• Design and develop solutions using approved low-code technologies.
• Configure AI agents, automated workflows, forms, approvals, and knowledge repositories.
• Utilise Microsoft technologies including:
• Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Power Automate
• Power Apps
• SharePoint
• Dataverse
• Microsoft 365 Copilot
• Ensure solutions are appropriately documented and aligned with organisational standards and governance requirements.

AI Governance, Risk and Compliance 

• Conduct AI risk and impact assessments for proposed and implemented solutions.
• Ensure AI and automation solutions comply with cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements.
• Establish appropriate controls to manage risks relating to:
• Confidentiality
• Data protection
• Accuracy
• Bias
• Accountability
• Responsible AI usage
• Support the implementation of responsible and ethical AI practices across the organisation.

Stakeholder and Solution Delivery 

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify technology-enabled solutions.
• Translate business needs into practical AI, automation, and digital solutions.
• Support change management, adoption, testing, monitoring, and operational support activities.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

Requirements: 

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Diploma or degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following:
• Business Analysis
• Product Management
• Digital Transformation
• Process Automation
• Enterprise Applications
• Intelligent Automation
• Proven experience delivering workflow or automation solutions from concept through implementation and adoption.
• Previous experience working within an IT environment will be advantageous.

Technical Competencies
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly:

• Excel
• Word
• Email / Outlook
• Experience with SAP.
