    Business Analyst CA (SA)

    Job Description

    • Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a newly qualified, highly skilled, and commercially astute Business Analyst – CA(SA). This key role is responsible for delivering end-to-end business and process analysis, fulfilling a crucial project management function, and providing essential financial analysis for the retail division.
    • This role is suited to a qualified CA(SA) with strong business analysis expertise, financial insight, and project delivery experience who can translate complex business needs into efficient, scalable solutions that optimise business performance across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Analysis & Reporting

    • Own the full function of incentives for operations department
    • Design and implement financial models for analysis
    • Do monthly reporting on brands and stores

    Business Analysis & Process Optimisation

    • Analyse, document, and improve existing business processes and systems
    • Design and implement fit-for-purpose processes aligned to the Pepkor Lifestyle operating model
    • Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements
    • Apply industry-standard business analysis methodologies and tools
    • Provide commercial insight

    Project & Programme Management

    • Initiate, plan, and manage projects through the full project lifecycle
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project and implementation plans
    • Manage risk, issue, and decision logs, ensuring ownership and closure
    • Drive solution testing, validation, implementation, and handover to operations
    • Prepare and present SteerCo packs with internal teams and service providers
    • Drive quote approvals and purchase order processes where required

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with Product Owners, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders
    • Ensure compliance with Pepkor Lifestyle policies, governance, and ethical standards

    Minimum Requirements

    • Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) (essential)
    • Relevant university degree (BCom or similar)
    • Advanced MS Office proficiency

    • Programme and project management
    • Risk, issue, and decision management
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • High levels of integrity, accountability, and self-management
