    Business Analyst: Development

    Business Analyst: Development 

    We are looking for a Business Analyst: Development at our Pretoria offices to help us understand product needs and gather requirements. The Business Analyst: Development is responsible for analysing the product and design of technical systems, business models, processes, and strategic product needs. The Business Analyst: Development is also responsible for discovering the actual needs of stakeholders. The Business Analyst will work closely with the development team translating the requirements and assisting with Quality Assurance.  Please note that this BA position is specifically focused on software development. 


    • R 30 000 – R 50 000 per Month 


    • Facilitate communication between business departments in order to reach business goals 
    • Primarily Healthcare Domain Business knowledge advantageous but also able to learn other domains as well 
    • Play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with capabilities that can be delivered by the product 
    • Required to work under general direction within a clearly defined accountability framework  
    • Participate in the solution enhancements design process  
    • Prepare the requirements specifications  
    • Define the success criteria for solution testing  
    • Develop a clear understanding of all existing development requirements 
    • Work with stakeholders at all levels  
    • Assist with integration and acceptance testing 
    • Report the results back to the relevant members of the business  
    • Work alongside teams within the business to establish business needs  
    • Regular engagement with stakeholders takes place with the intention to add value  
    • Regular feedback needs to be provided to stakeholders in support of performance 


    • Grade 12 (Essential) 
    • Relevant Tertiary IT Qualification or Certificate/ Diploma in Business Process Analysis from industry recognized training institution  
    • BA Certification (Preferred) 


    • 3+ years’ of relevant Business Analysis/Intelligence Knowledge (Essential) 
    • Experience working on medical systems/the medical sector (Preferred) 
    • Experience in the information technology space
