Business Analyst (DS3831ND) at DeARX Services (Pty) Ltd

• DeARX is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a hybrid contract basis. As a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, DeARX works with clients across various industries to help them achieve their business goals. We are looking for a Business Analyst who has at least 7 years of experience in the role and a proven track record of success in complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and drive decision-making
• Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, user stories, and process flows
• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide support during implementation and post-implementation phases
• Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project stakeholders
• Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the business analysis team

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a complex and dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• Previous Financial Services/Banking experience required
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is preferred
• Knowledge of the hybrid work model and its impact on business processes is a plus
• Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, Advanced FTI) Essential
