AI Developer at Praesignis

Job Description

• Our client in the banking industry is seeking a hands-on AI Developer to design, develop, test and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft's AI technology stack. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary Agile team to deliver secure, scalable and production-ready solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI and related Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy AI agents and AI-powered solutions.
• Build solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and Microsoft AI services.
• Configure prompts, workflows, orchestration logic, connectors and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs and data sources.
• Support proofs of concept, pilots, production deployments, releases and performance optimisation.
• Develop reusable components and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in testing, debugging, code reviews and defect resolution.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, maintainability and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, testers and product owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.

Technical Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI.
• Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience building, configuring and deploying AI agents.
• API integration experience, including authentication and security principles.
• Experience testing, debugging and supporting AI-powered solutions.

Advantageous:

• Experience with Power Platform, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or a related language.

Minimum Requirements

• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Proven experience delivering solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Practical experience with Microsoft AI technologies.
• Experience building and deploying AI or automation use cases.
• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Applied Skills: Build AI Apps with Azure AI Foundry.
• Microsoft Copilot Studio certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
• Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals.
