An educational sector client is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join their sales team. This key role will focus on boosting sales performance and driving revenue growth across South Africa through innovative solution offerings.
Responsibilities
Be accountable for setting goals, developing and communicating sales strategies
Responsible for achieving revenue growth through increasing school sales and establishing new partnerships across the territory, promoting and selling the company’s range of existing SaaS products and bespoke resource and professional learning solutions.
Responsible for meeting EBUK’s performance targets in the appointed territories (Southern Africa with an initial focus on South Africa).
Specialist for the South African territory, maintaining a high level of understanding of local education market conditions in private and public sectors,
Generate new business through high level discussions with school leaders/business owners
Support existing customer base in line with agreed KPIs
Requirements
Experience in commercial, publishing, edtech, with sales of educational material in the education sector both private and public
Deep understanding of the domestic state and private schools’ market in South Africa as well as proficiency in large deal negotiations
Acute knowledge of the international education market and teaching issues
