    Business Development Manager

    Description    

    WHO ARE YOU

    As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales prospects, developing strategic partnerships, and spearheading the expansion of Hellopay products and services. You will be required to manage existing merchants, meet company expectations, and drive rapid and sustainable growth.

    The main objective is to foster business growth, increase revenue, drive product development and enhancement and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

    To be successful in this role, you should have a strong working knowledge of payments, banking, and financial domains.

    SKILL REQUIREMENTS/PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

    • Good working knowledge of payments, banking, and financial domains
    • Experience in developing, building and maintaining partnerships
    • Ability to assess market needs and drive product development to build a solution that is fit for market
    • Develop go to market strategies and drive uptake of product in the market
    • Strong negotiating skills
    • Experience in budget management, forecasting, pricing, and account profitability review
    • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all internal and external teams including sales, business development, marketing, and product management
    • Salesforce experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering measurable business outcomes
    • Analytical skills to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions and overcome business challenges

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or relevant required
    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, in a similar B2B environment

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Identifying new segments within the market
    • Market Analysis and Strategic Development:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential competitors
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and anticipating future requirements
    • Identify potential clients and partners, initiating and nurturing business relationships to secure new opportunities
    • Identify and qualify potential leads through a combination of research, networking, and outreach
    • Understanding customers' diverse & specific business needs and applying services /product knowledge to meet those needs, factoring in country-wise regulation,
    • Strategizing effective sales plans with sales management team
    • Achieving assigned sales quota in the designated portfolio and meeting assigned expectations for profitability
    • Strong internal project management with key partners and close collaboration with cross-functional teams
