• A leading company in the distribution industry is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Representative to join their team in Witbank. The role is field-based, covering a region in the Mpumalanga province with a focus on areas like Witbank, Middelburg, Secunda, and Ermelo. Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within the designated sales territory.
• Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and actively seeking out new clients.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the territory.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively present solutions to customers.
• Complete all necessary sales reports, manage customer data, and update the company's CRM system accurately.
• Attend weekly in-office meetings, stay updated on trade information, and maintain clear and consistent communication with management and team members.
• Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• A proven track record in sales, with a strong preference for experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or the meat/butchery industry.
• Must have a Matric (high school) certificate. A tertiary qualification is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
• Must be comfortable with daily travel throughout the inner parts of Mpumalanga.
