Business Intelligence Analyst at Mango5 Call Centre (Pty) Ltd

Mango5 is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence & Data Analyst with Data Scientist knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within the organization and all subsidiaries (Mango5, Mango5 Insurance Consulting, Digima etc). You will be responsible for organizing data points, communicating between senior management and the IT department, and analyzing data to determine a company or business unit's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, public information, or purchased sources.
• Write data collection and processing procedures (in SQL)
• Ensure that data is being correctly gathered, stored, and reported
• Report on performances of key metrics of various divisions to management.
• Develop methodologies to improve data analysis.
• Develop and implement predictive models
• Increase the profitability of the business units for which predictive models and BI reports are written
• Make the business units for which predictive models and BI reports are written more efficient
• Identify markets for future campaigns and methods to improve sales of existing products
• Compile business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools such as SQL, MS BI Reports, and Python.
• Experience in developing and implementing predictive models.
