    Business Intelligence Developer

    Description

    • The purpose of the BI Developer is to aggregate data from multiple data sources, design and create datasets, data models, reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and other related tools.
    • The BI Developer will need to be able to transform business problems and analysis into reports and Dashboards that provide actionable insights for better decision making. This position reports into the Data Scientist and will be based in PMB.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and create data models and datasets.
    • Design and create reports and dashboards.
    • Provide support for reporting and data analysis.
    • Interact with report owners to establish requirements and develop report specifications.
    • Manage report and analytics security, roles and access.
    • Report scheduling
    • Documentation and Testing
    • Plan and execute work according to priorities and deadlines.
    • Build an understanding of the Belgotex business to be able to better service customers
       

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS  

    • Grade 12 / Matric with a pass mark for Maths/Maths Lit and English
    • A relevant diploma / bachelor’s degree in in Software Development (Programming)

    REQUIREMENTS

    •          3+ years Database experience
    •          Previous experience in Power BI is advantageous
    •          Ability to build relations with Stakeholders
    •          Must have high work standards (including high attention to detail)

    •          Ability to work within deadlines
