    Business Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Oversight and insight into the non-teaching aspects of the school, including finances, information technology, marketing, campus development, human resources, operations, facilities management, audit liaison, policy optimisation, compliance, company secretariat, legal matters, risk management, internal controls, and office-support management. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Business or financial-oriented degree
    • 5-10 years of managerial experience at a senior manager or executive level
    • Demonstrated skills/experience in overseeing the listed areas of responsibility
    • Experience of reporting to a board of directors is preferable
    • Experience in a school environment is preferable
    • All prospective candidates must consent to undergo credit, criminal, child safeguarding, and sex offender checks, and must be successfully cleared.
    • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic management team
    • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of stakeholders, management, the board and employees
    • Committed to and aligned with the greater purpose of St Peter’s College
    • Dependable ethical behaviour in all circumstances
    • Driven, practical and efficient
    • Focused on continuous excellence and improvement
    • Independently and proactively prioritise work on several tasks at once
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
