    Business Process Analyst (Durbanville)

    Key Traits

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage competing schedules and priorities
    • IT Business Analysis and Business Process Analysis
    • Demonstrated domain knowledge in manufacturing verticals 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with specific departments to identify process inefficiencies and gaps
    • Work closely with the BRM and Product Owners in IT as well as the business to propose and implement improvements
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand their specific needs and pain points, ensuring alignment with business goals
    • Run workshops to address process inefficiencies
    • Leverage the Business Process Optimisation (BPO) Specialist and Global Process Advisor 
    • Utilise process mapping techniques to map out and document existing processes within the department to identify areas for improvement and potential automation
    • Analyse relevant data to identify trends and patterns that could lead to process optimization
    • Partner with various IT groups for shaping and implementing successful process improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with Product Owners and Solution Architects to design solutions
    • Evaluate existing and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to improve business processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Define and capture high-level business requirements
    • Devise change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions
    • Regularly review and optimize processes to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
    • Measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and provide feedback for further enhancements

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
    • BA and/or BPMN or similar certification advantageous
    • Lean Six Sigma or similar certification advantageous
    • 5+ years’ experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and/or business process optimisation
    • 5+ years’ experience with business applications supporting: Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing
    • Ability to work with a multitude of teams spread across an international company
    • Data analytics experience a plus
    • Experience in process mapping using tools and techniques such as Visio BPMN, 5S, PDCA, Gemba, Value Stream Mapping, Rapid Improvement Events advantageous
    • Strong consultative and advisory skills
