    Business Support SME - Hiport Specialist

    Role purpose

    The Business Support Team is responsible for the analysis, management, implementation of changes as requested by clients and internal operations teams & support of existing processes.

    The Hiportfolio Specialist will focus on investigations of Operational queries regarding Hiport functionality, looking for improvements in using Hiport and business processes, investigate new Hiport functionality and interact with SS&C, Hiport’s vendor  regarding problems/queries/new functionality.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Investigate Hiport queries, assist Operational teams, determine root cause and rectify problem
    • Investigate Hiport problems/bugs, log with SS&C and manage until a solution have been found
    • Coordinate/perform Hiport testing of bug fixes
    • Investigating, analyse, test and implement of operational process improvements
    • Investigating, analyse, test and implement new Hiport Functionality
    • Manage the change through the testing and implementation phases.
    • Perform post-implementation review.
    • Training of operational staff in new processes/new staff in Hiport functionality
    • Help during Hiport Upgrades to ensure thorough testing is done
    • Perform back-up duties for team members.

    Requirements

    Competencies: Experience, Skills and Behavioural Attributes

    Education

    • Relevant Tertiary qualification or recognized industry subject matter expert
    • Proficient in MS Office suite
    • Sound understanding of financial instruments
    • Extensive relevant working experience in Investment Administration environment
    • Hiportfolio working knowledge (essential)

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to interact professionally with other teams and clients
    • Attention to detail
    • Organised approach to work and ability to prioritise/ Deadline driven/ Self managed
