Business Systems Specialist at Volvo Group

Position Description

• The main purpose of the role is the implementation, support, maintenance and management of Volvo group business systems.

Reporting: Senior Manager: Network Development.

Job Objectives:

Strategic:

• To align user access with the strategic vision of the Group in the most cost-effective manner.
• To provide inputs into the departmental budget as relates to business systems activities and projects.

Operational:

• Assist users with any system issues (i.e., errors) they may have, or to direct them to the correct channels to ensure effective support to the business.
• Drive suitable system improvements raised by the users according to the change request governance processes.
• Secure that all the users have updated knowledge, at all times, in the best way to use the applicable systems according to the recommended way of working (i.e., training).
• Securing that users utilize the appliable systems to their full potential and functionality according to the recommended way of working (process adherence).
• Ensure all users in the network have the relevant access to the applicable systems they require, including creation of new user access and termination of users in systems when needed (i.e., Baldo administrator).
• Support and coordinate the implementation of new systems, and new features, providing training and expertise to the users as per best practices (effective project management).
• Be the Dealerpoint administrator for the provision of access to Purchase Plus (P+), Dealerpoint Truck Admin and the Retail Analysis Tool (RAT).
• Enforce applicable Volvo Group policies to secure data accuracy and relevance.
• Manage the Business Systems Support Box to grant and remove necessary role accesses with a 48-hour timeframe.
• Manage the Volvo Trucks CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
• Be the Volvo Trucks CRM system expert and gatekeeper. Create and communicate a process flow for the CM and CRM systems and to coordinate with all necessary role players to have the most accurate information updated into the system.
• Ensuring successful implementation, maintenance and management of Truck Sales Process (TSP) Systems as prescribed by the central Process and IT organization.
• CTDI administration backup.
• Trucks Portal Admin backup.

Client:

• Internal and external business systems users.
• To ensure internal and external user requests are solved as per policy and best practice.

Qualification & Work Experience:

• 2-3 years’ experience in Business systems.
• Certificate in Project Management.
• Diploma in Information system (IS/IT).
• Retail experience would be an advantage.
