Job Description

• An award-winning UK firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors is looking to hire a Business Tax Graduate  to work at their office in Cape Town.
• As a Business Tax Graduate, you will prepare tax returns, provide advice to clients, and develop your tax knowledge while studying for ACA (ICAEW) and CTA (CIOT) qualifications, with mentoring and training to support your professional growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Join a large, UK-based Business Tax team with expertise across all aspects of tax, from routine matters to specialist sectors.
• Work within one of five sector teams: Creative Media and Technology, Property, Hospitality, Financial Services, or Not for Profit.
• Study towards an internationally recognised dual qualification: ACA (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and CTA (Chartered Institute of Taxation).
• Gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns and providing tax advice to a variety of clients across multiple sectors.
• Develop a strong understanding of business operations and collaborate with different service lines within the firm.
• Build client-facing skills and learn to liaise effectively with clients while adding value across complex tax matters.
• Access high-quality personal development programmes, mentoring, and support from peers and leaders.
• Work under the guidance of an assigned line manager and buddy to support career growth and workplace transition.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BCom Accounting or Finance / Bachelor of Accounting / Honours in Accounting or Tax
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong eye for detail with excellent organizational abilities.
