Job purpose
Seeking a driven, high-energy business transformation executive and process architect to design, lead and facilitate business transformation and process improvement efforts for Manufacturing business (which includes: Brits, Retread, PE ). Lead in designing, modeling and implementing new or modified business process solutions to deliver a leaner and more efficient business while maintaining and improving service delivery.
The incumbent will be responsible for driving business performance, strategic initiatives and projects by using financial data to identify opportunities for improvement, developing and presenting business case justifications for Project and recapitalization opportunities, and working with manufacturing senior management team to leverage business improvement & transformation models, tools, and technology to achieve measurable results, close performance gaps and create value for stakeholders. The successful incumbent will report to the Manufacturing Director.
Main responsibilities
Financial Management: Financial Business analysis of the manufacturing scenarios, evaluating the financial viability of Capex and other strategic initiatives, and develop financial models for the manufacturing re-organization.
Project Management: Develop and manage strategic projects within the manufacturing space, which include;
Attend to departments that are operating with severe malfunctions

Performance Management: Direct, monitor and targeting completion of process improvement & strategic projects within a specified period while achieving a cost reduction goal.
Develop a framework for the manufacturing organization design with respect to changing demand (Medium & Long term).
Strategy Development: Collaborate with business Stakeholders across the company (hr, quality, safety, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, legal etc.) in development of business strategic initiatives, translate business strategy into an ecosystem strategy, and identify and architect partnerships and opportunities that can drive significant businesses growth for Bridgestone.
Transaction Execution: Identify, develop and propose opportunities in support of the broader partner strategy including developing the business case for an alliance (strategic rationales and economics), and creatively structuring terms.
Governance: Monitor manufacturing business performance and track efficacy. Maintain ongoing relationship with Mancom to ensure all compliance and production ticket commitments are fulfilled.
External Partnerships: Maintain a network of relationships across the industry with partners, potential partners, competitors, investors, thought leaders, etc. Leverage relationships in opportunity identification and transaction execution.
Industry Expertise: Be an expert in the competitive landscape including competitive and market dynamics and product and technology trends.

Education and experience required
10+ years of experience with in business transformation or continuous improvement, including process optimization, finance, project management and consulting, or relevant engineering experience in a role at a snr management level.
5+ experience snr management level within Manufacturing or Operations environment
Strong financial and administrative skills
Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
Experience with agile methodology, performance management, developing and tracking KPIs, preferred
Ability to manage organizational complexity, especially a matrix multinational structure, a proven ability to collaborate across functions is essential.
Ability to understand a variety of business processes (budgeting, business case writing, project management, executive presentation, and strategic planning)
Highly detailed, organized, and efficient
Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Projects.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in finance, structuring, influencing/negotiating, and managing complex projects.
Business Degree or Engineering degree or MBA
