Butcher/Blockman at Phakisa Group

• Salary: R7,000 - R8,000 per month
• We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Blockman to join our team in Lanseria, Gauteng. This role involves meat preparation, cutting, packaging, and customer service in a fast-paced butchery environment. If you have experience in meat cutting and good customer service skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim and prepare various meat products according to required specifications.
• Weigh, portion, package and label meat products accurately.
• Ensure proper display and presentation of meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the butchery area.
• Follow food safety and health regulations at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Blockman/Butchery Assistant is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to operate basic butchery equipment safely.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
