Buyer: Bathroom and Kitchen Textiles (Northern Suburbs (Cape) at PEP

Purpose of the job

• This is an exciting opportunity to join the PEP Home Team as a buyer. Your role will be to source and compile a range of Bathroom and Kitchen Textiles that meet the needs of the Pep consumer market. The range selected must contribute to the profit margin and price points of Pep, in accordance with the departmental directive.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Supplier management(sourcing and loading) 
• Rangebuilding (Product sourcing & range development) 
• Product determination 
• Product order management (Administration) 
• Budget management and OTB control 
• Research about target market and competitiveness

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

• Relevant Degree (e.g. Consumer Science) or Diploma (e.g. Fashion / Clothing / Purchasing Management)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an established buyer 
• Computer Literacy (MS Office & GoogleSuite) 
• Experience in Home Buying Environment will be an advantage
• Creative, eye for detail and analytical business approach 
• Willingness to travel
