Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers of medical and surgical products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Procurement: Execute purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery schedules for a diverse range of medical supplies.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers, leveraging market insights to achieve favorable agreements.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement effective inventory control measures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all procured medical supplies meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues promptly and maintaining a robust network for sourcing needs.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to assess purchasing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to drive informed decision-making.

Inherent Requirements    

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing within the medical or healthcare industry, preferably with a focus on surgical and medical products.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical product sourcing, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing with suppliers.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel to analyze purchasing trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
