Buyer - Retail at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Interpret local and international fashion trends and translate them into commercially successful product ranges.
• Conceptualise and deliver ranges with a clear understanding of colour, fabric, fit, and silhouette.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, pricing, and timeous delivery.
• Work closely with planning and design teams to execute the seasonal merchandise strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful execution of ranges in-store.
• Continuously monitor sales, react to market demands, and adjust the product offering as needed.

Requirements:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in retail or clothing manufacturing as a Buyer, ideally in Ladieswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Accessories, or Footwear.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in fashion, textiles, design, or business.
• Exceptional technical merchandising ability.
• Proven success in interpreting trends and conceptualising product assortments.
• Energetic, innovative, and driven by a passion for product and fashion.
