C# Developer 

A client is a giant in the financial services field and they have an exciting opportunity for you to join their ambitious, hard-working IT family on their latest projects. They are actively looking for an experienced C# Developer to join their team in Cape Town.

To apply, you need to have a relevant IT Degree or Diploma coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in application development. You need to have a proven record of exceptional work performance and experience with Agile methodologies will be advantageous.

You will have to rely on your understanding of Microsoft C# in the context of the Microsoft.NET framework as well as your basic understanding of UML (Class, Activity, Entity Relation Diagrams, etc.) to succeed in this role. You need to be familiar with the SDLC Methodology and understand OO concepts, design principles and patterns.

Your technical knowledge and/or experience need to cover the following:

• C#.Net, ASP.Net and ADO.Net;
• MVC, MCF and LinQ;
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON and Ajax;
• SQL 2012 and /or Express;
• Understand and code XML, XSD, HTTP and SOAP protocols;
• Persistence frameworks (XPO would be beneficial);
• Domain-Driven Design concepts;
• High-level understanding of Enterprise Test Methodology;
• Sound knowledge of the Financial Services industry (Highly recommended); and,
• Kentico CMS (Beneficial).
