    Call Centre Operator - IIE HSM & CCS - Johannesburg

    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:

    To recruit new students through the application of the Capsicum Culinary studio and IIE School of Hospitality and Service Management methodology, effective stakeholder relationship management and brand awareness.

    KEY RESULT AREAS:
    Cold Calling

    • Views existing student database and contacts existing students for referrals.
    • Contacts parents of existing students and enquires about sibling's prospective enrolment at CCS & IIE HSM.
    • Resurrects in-active students from database.
    • Contacts prospective students to market the brand.

    Telephone Consultation 

    • Makes initial telephonic contact with prospective students.
    • Introduces the brand.
    • Invites them for telephonic interviews to discuss prospective career options.
    • Sets up telephonic consultations.
    • Explains the purpose of the interview and the process.
    • Acquires student's details for the database.
    • Captures student's details on the database.
    • Presents CCS & IIE HSM philosophy.
    • Asks career specific questions to establish course of interest.
    • Discusses the course/s in detail.
    • Checks for understanding.
    • Responds to the prospects’/ student's queries and concerns.
    • Advises students/prospects that the acceptance into CCS and IIE HSM is subject to them meeting the entrance criteria of the respective course.
    • Builds rapport with the students during the interview process.
    • Advises students of the application closing date.
    • Persuade students to fill out the application form before ending the call (within the terms and conditions as set out in Consumer Protection Act)

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric Certificate 
    • Sales & Marketing Diploma (Ideal)

    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    • Telephone Etiquette
    • Advanced Oral & Written Communication
    • Valid drivers license & own vehicle 
    • Time Management & Planning
    • Willingness to Learn
    • Customer Service Focused
    • Target driven with an ability to handle pressure

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

    • 1-2 years in a target driven sales environment with presentation to all levels.
    • 1 year sales experience and customer service experience
