Capital Analyst at Robert Walters

Role Purpose:

As a Capital Analyst, you will report to the Head: Capital Management. This role forms part of a specialist team that is responsible for the management and enhancement of the Group's capital position and optimisation of risk-adjusted returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Group Capital Management framework, capital allocation, capital performance metrics and guidelines
• Analysis and reporting to various internal and external stakeholders
• Adherence to governance, risk, and compliance requirements
• Ongoing monitoring, refinement, and reporting on financial hurdle rates for capital investment decisions and capital performance measures and targets
• Identify opportunities to optimise the capital and funding/liquidity structure
• Involved in enhancing the efficient the use of the group's balance sheet

Qualifications and experience:

• Actuarial, CA (SA) or other relevant qualification
• MUST have 3 - 5 years financial services, MUST be in treasury and/or capital management function
• Experience in engaging with diverse groups of stakeholders
