Cash Management Analyst (12 months Fixed Term Contract) at Rio Tinto

About The Role

We are looking for a Cash Management Analyst Professional to drive consistent delivery of services across Cash and Working Capital Management processes. The selected individual will work as part of a global P2P team with the overall accountability of performance of operational activities, engaging with stakeholders and resolving escalations.

Reporting to the Superintendent AP and Expense Management – Africa, you will be

• Deliver globally consistent Cash and Working Capital services with a focus to strengthen engagement and capability.
• Accountable for P2P KPI targets, key ones being accurate & on-time payment, standard, simplified and automated processes
• Supervise outsource partner with a focus on improving the quality of service delivery
• Review and approve payment runs
• Perform bank account administration and maintenance activities
• Monitor bank transactions and manage payment runs
• Reconcile and review payment reconciliations
• Manage/resolve issues and escalations
• Understand the business environment, stakeholder expectation and manage any change
• Understand the risk and compliance landscape, including SOX responsibilities and ensure that all requirements are met
• Manage potential risks and ensure plans are implemented to mitigate or remediate as necessary

About You

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have

• Fluency in English and French
• A National Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience experince in finance with cash management forecasting and working capital procesess
• Strong experience working with SAP
• A collaborative approach, ability to work across organizational lines, as a team.
• Strong exposure to global business environments and global roles
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Be self-driven, proactive, result oriented, structured
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
