Cashbook Controller - Johannesburg at Core Group

Description

Experienced Cashbook Controller required to join high volume, fast paced Finance Shared Services team. You will be responsible for cashbook and other settlement control functions within the Group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in finance, ideally in a cashbook controller role.

• Analyse and Reconcile bank statement
• Analyse and Reconcile bank cashbook
• Analyse and Reconcile cash suspense
• Balance SL and GL, resolve any remaining reconciling variances
• Finalise monthly consolidated bank reconciliation
• Engage effectively with relevant stakeholders (Accountants, banks, sales teams, account payable, accounts receivable etc)

Requirements

Education and Experience requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant Tertiary qualification (BCom degree)
• 3+ years experience in a cashbook role (we may consider credit controller or accounts payable experience if strong knowledge of day to day problem solving and reconciliations)
