Cashier (Henwil/Galitos - Taung) at Henwil Chickens Corporate

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
• Customer/client service experience will be advantageous.
• Working experience in retail, cashier or sales will be an added advantage.
• Basic math and computer literacy.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Excellent communication & people skills.
•  Must be able to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
• The ability to “get things done” and to think like and entrepreneur.
• Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
• Situated within the Taung area will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers.
• In Depth Knowledge of the menu and prices.
• Station preparation: Set up Front Counter, Cool drink fridges, Salad display, Condiments, Marketing material.
• Assist customers by explaining and/or recommending items.
• Know the Point-of-Sale (cash register) system well.
• Process sales, refunds, exchanges and resolve complaints.
• Maintaining a clean workstation at all times.
• Coordination Skills: Multitask, must be able to pack and check orders. Be able to utilize correct packaging and check that plating is correct.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and conflict management skills.
• Must have telephone etiquette and be able to handle delivery service co-ordination.
