    General Workers (Taung)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
    • Working experience in a Retail / Fast Food Restaurant doing food preparations will be an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.
    • Must be willing to work overtime, public holidays and weekends.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Must be able to perform under pressure.
    • Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
    • Situated within the Taung area will be advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Cleaning of Crockery, Cutlery, Smallwares, Pots etc.
    • Understand what customer expectations are.
    • In depth knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and recipes.
    • Must be multiskilled and be able to help in other stations when the store gets busy.
    • Must be able to make salads, rice, spinach, pap etc., as and when required.
    • Assist in either the Galito's or Henwil store with general housekeeping.
    • Assist with general duties, including but not limited to, packing fridges and selves, stock taking, etc.

    Front Griller (Main Grill) (Taung)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
    • A recognised Chef's qualification will be advantageous.
    • Working experience in a Fast Food Restaurant as a Griller will be an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.
    • Must be willing to work overtime, public holidays and weekends.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Must be able to perform under pressure.
    • Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
    • Situated within the Taung area will be advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • In-depth knowledge of the menu.
    • Know all precook procedures of products(chicken, wings) as well as holding times.
    • Hot Food SOP’s – must know Standard Operating Procedures for Chicken and wings.
    • Must know procedures on how to prepare Pre and final cooks of chicken, wings, fillets etc.
    • Maintaining a clean workstation at all times.
    • Know how to package each item if it is a “take-away” (Full Chicken, ½ Chicken, ¼ Chicken, Wings).
    • Know how to plate items if the order is “sit in” (Full Chicken, ½ Chicken, ¼ Chicken, Wings).
    • Must be able to coordinate and push out orders with urgency(within 7minutes)as they come in.
    • Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning of equipment such as the Front grill, Extraction, Chopping Block, Smallware’s/inserts/tongs/brushes, packing table, Oven/Fire Engine.

    Manager - Rendering and Water Treatment Plant

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 will be essential.
    • A Boiler Certificate will be an advantage.
    • A relevant qualification in management will be an added advantage.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial position.
    • Experience in processing/ production within a Chicken Abattoir environment will serve as preference.
    • Ability and willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
    • Sound knowledge of rendering processes.
    • Analytical problem-solving ability.
    • Must be able to perform under pressure and work independently.
    • Leadership and people management skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the rendering & water treatment plant which includes overseeing production processes, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining quality standards.
    • Communicate any challenges in the processing cycle to the Processing Manager.
    • Managing inventory levels of raw materials and finished products is important to ensure continuous operations.
    • Ensure optimum processing strategy.
    • Manage staff training and development and supervising the team of workers involved in different stages of the rendering process.
    • Ensure adherence to the health, safety, food safety and housekeeping regulations.
    • Ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
    • Implement and manage waste management and water conservation practices.
    • Monitor water quality and effluent discharge to meet environmental standards.
    • Monitor expenses and optimize operational costs for rendering and water treatment operations.

    Fitter - Lichtenburg

    Minimum Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 is essential.
    • Qualified Fitter with Trade certificate
    • 2 years of related experience as a Fitter will be advantageous.
    • Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment materials and tools of the electric trade, including use and care of trade tools and equipment.
    • Task and deadline orientated with excellent planning, organising, prioritising and time management skills.
    • Ability to do welding.
    • Ability to communicate and coordinate with supervisors, subordinates, vendors and personnel.
    • Willing to work overtime, weekends and stand by shifts.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The installation, maintenance, inspection and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment
    • Interpret and work from instructions, penciled plans, sketches, and blueprints.
    • Performing general mechanical maintenance.
    • Completing all required documentation such as job cards, inspection lists, etc.
    • Performing work efficiently to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
    • Performing preventative maintenance.

    Experience in the following will be an added advantage:

    Electrician

    Minimum Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 is essential.
    • Qualified Electrician with Trade Certificate.
    • 2 years of related experience as an Electrician will be advantageous.
    • Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment materials and tools of the electric trade, including use and care of trade tools and equipment.
    • Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work.
    • In-depth knowledge of the national Electrical Code for electrical installations.

    Manager (Henwil/Galitos - Taung)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/National Senior Certificate is required.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Business Management qualification or relevant qualification will be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Manager in a retail or fast food environment is required.
    • Retail experience managing multiple stores would be beneficial.
