- RCL FOODS is on the hunt for a Cashier to join our Commercial team in Rustenburg.
- The successful incumbent will be responsible for receiving and depositing cash deposits, recording cash and ensuring security of the cash.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics
- Must reside in or around Rustenburg
- Previous experience working in a similar role or environment is advantageous (cash office/banking)
Duties & Responsibilities
Cash deposits
- Receive all cash deposits from drivers.
- Make up bank.
Cash
- Count cash received from drivers and balance with deposit slip.
- Record cash and cheques in cashup summary.
- Prepare deposit for bank.
- Record seal numbers in register.
Security
- Keep the cash office door locked at all times.
- No authorised person allowed.
- Lock cash in safe overnight.
- Previous days taking to be removed from premises by 11:00 am next day.
