Category Analyst at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Category Management Team in analysing customer-specific, market, and consumer data to develop sound business recommendations.
• Provide high-quality category management support to ensure business requirements are met.

Implement predetermined commercial arrangements within defined categories, including:

• Technical assistance
• Performance tracking
• Data collection and processing
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
• Continuous improvement initiatives
• Planning and reporting
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) adherence and compliance in all areas of responsibility.
• Uphold professional work ethics and contribute to a high-performing team culture.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Logistics, Engineering, or Law (Essential)
• Qualified Artisan with N4 Engineering Studies
• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Logistics, Engineering, or Law (Recommended)

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years operational experience in a technical environment (Essential)
• Minimum of 3 years operational technical analysis experience (data and root cause analysis) (Essential)
• Total of 5 years operational experience

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word (basic), Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (intermediate); JD Edwards (basic)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with employees, clients, management, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, including coordination, planning, and budget/cost management
• Ability to analyse data to identify and verify information for sound recommendations
• Technical knowledge of engineering, production processes, and mining operating principles

• Valid Driver’s License (Code B/EB)
• Medically fit to meet required standards.
