    Change Manager

    Purpose Statement

    • To prepare Business Bank for change and leads and guides Business Bank through the change as the implementer of change, proactively understanding and managing the impact of change on people.

    • To achieve staff adoption of new tools and processes as well as to drive a change in behaviour across Business Bank to align with the Capitec way of work and achieve consistency in client experience at scale.



    • 8+ yrs extensive experience as a change manager, with proven track-record in implementing change programs in large organisations in virtual and onsite team contexts

    • Working and delivering in a high performance delivery environment

    • Proven experience of building relationships at all levels

    • Change management execution through operational line management 


    • Experience in change management in an Agile environment

    • Experience gained in a banking of financial services environment

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant degree in Change Management

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)




    • Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, techniques & tools. 

    • Understanding of how people go through change (psychology of change)

    • Organisational behaviour theory

    • Business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges in implementing change

    • A range of change management models and approaches such as Prosci, Lewins, Mckinsey 7-s, Knoster

    • Stakeholder Management and engagement 

    • How to influence leaders to ensure effective implementation of change management plans

    • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills

    • Agile methodology

    • Techniques to move teams toward a common vision or goal

    • Conflict management principles and practices

    • Able to build rapport with people easily

    • Story-telling abilities and techniques

    • Coaching for change (line management)

    • Articulate messages to a variety of audiences

    • Understanding of organizational issues and challenges

    • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
