    Developer: Node JS

    Purpose Statement

    • We are looking for a Developer to join the Digital Client Engagement team at Capitec Bank. The team is building the Chat ecosystem at Capitec Bank.

    • The role will encompass both backend and front end development.

    Experience

    • 5 years’ proven experience in software development

    • As a developer, you will be writing containerized micro services using Node.js core and frontends using web components.

    • Experience with other languages especially C# or any functional language would be advantageous.

    • The solutions developed by the wider team range from purely on-prem, to hybrid and cloud (AWS) based systems.

    Team Leader: Data and Analytics

    Purpose Statement

    • Team Leader Data & Analystics. To provide support to the value stream through component or analytics teams; business level interaction with clients to ensure clear understanding of the core business requirements for efficient support and development of appropriate analyses and reports for the business.

    • To co-ordinate the daily allocation to and progress on specific tasks of a dedicated analytics or delivery team to ensure delivery according to the Capitec recipe and agile way of work, within agreed timeframes.

    AML Analyst: Enhanced Due Diligence

    Purpose Statement

    • To execute daily operational activities within the Enhanced Due Diligence function thereby implementing and administrating legal and statutory requirements for the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001 (“FICA”), Protection of Constitutional Democracy Against Terrorist and Related Activities Act 33 of 2004 (“POCDATARA”), Prevention of Organised Crime Act 121 of 1998 and all related legislation, within Capitec Bank.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • At least  1-2 year’s investigative experience within a financial / banking environment

    • Experience with collating and analysing information and making decisions based on the information.


    Ideal:

    • At least 1-2 years’ experience in Anti-Money Laundering

    • FICA exposure within a financial/banking environment

    • Interpretation and application of regulatory requirements.

    Product Owner: Platform

    Purpose Statement

    • To translate the vision for development of competitive solutions in support of Capitec Business Banking’s business objectives.

    • To facilitate the delivery of Business Banking solutions to deliver a world-class client experience for business clients.

    • Identify unmet client needs and design products / solutions / features to develop new revenue streams.

    • Responsible for the design of products and solutions which are complex and prominent profile, critical to deliver the desired Business Banking client experience. The incumbent is involved in market research, prior to conducting a business viability study and finalising the product/solution design. Leads the formulation agenda and strategic direction on large scale, complex projects.  Manages internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of products/solutions in the market.
