Purpose Statement
To be responsible for the building of products that clients want and need, and guide the team around knowing the sequence/priority in which to build these products, ensuring they are successful and innovative in the market
To optimise all elements of the product through prioritising, coordinating and driving systems development work with the Feature Teams
Partner with the respective teams (analysts) to implement relevant process, product and credit rule changes related to the product
Experience
Minimum:
At least 5 years’ experience in a product owner, product development or product analyst position in credit
Proven experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders of various disciplines
In the relevant product and process
Aligning operational initiatives and/or projects to corporate strategies and objectives
Achieving goals and objectives through cross functional teams
Ideal:
Relevant product experience at product development level
Business development in the financial industry
Working with Agile product ownership and methodology
Of enabling business strategies and objectives into business benefits
Initiation and implementation of innovative concepts
Qualifications (Minimum)
Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge
Minimum:
Relevant product expertise and process know-how
Business development in the banking/financial industry
Agile product ownership and methodology
Domain specific knowledge, business insight, understanding of product technology, technical dependencies
Ideal:
