    Change Manager With SAP - Sandton

    Position Overview:

    Our client is seeking a qualified Change Manager with substantial experience in SAP implementation or migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies, coupled with hands-on experience in SAP-related initiatives. Fluency in French or Portuguese is highly desirable due to the international nature of the role, which may require frequent travel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Change Management Planning: Develop comprehensive change management strategies and plans tailored to SAP implementation or migration projects.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders at various levels within the organization to foster buy-in and support for change initiatives.
    • Communication: Craft clear and effective communication materials to convey project updates, training information, and other relevant messages to stakeholders.
    • Training and Development: Collaborate with training teams to design and deliver training programs aimed at enabling end-users to effectively utilize SAP systems.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and resistance to change, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
    • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between change management activities and project milestones.
    • Continuous Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of change management initiatives and implement refinements as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci Change Management Certification) preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in change management roles, with a focus on SAP implementation or migration projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing change initiatives within large, complex organizations.
    • Hands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA) and familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in French or Portuguese is highly desirable, along with the flexibility to travel internationally as needed.
