    Chief Accounting Clerk, Ref No: 84

    REQUIREMENTS :

    • Matric / Grade 12 Certificate, 6 years relevant financial experience required.

    Job Summary:

    • To render financial clerical support services within the Education District.

    Knowledge:

    • Basic knowledge of financial functions, practices as well as the ability to capture date, operate computer and collate financial statistics. Basic knowledge and insight of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures and Treasury regulations (PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR, PPPFA, Financial Manual) Knowledge of basic financial operating systems (PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS, etc.) Skills: Computer operating skills (accounting system), Planning and organization, Language, Good verbal and written communication skills, Basic Numeracy skills, Ability to perform routine tasks and Interpersonal skills.
