DUTIES :
Manage plumbers, carpenters, painters, building and construction workers. Planning and organizing of work according to the budget implementation. Construction and maintenance of civil structures on the scheme. Standby and after hours’ services. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Manage civil maintenance teams and workshop.
Ensure compliance with prescribed specifications and standards to ensure safe and serviceable infrastructure through planned maintenance, scheduled and unscheduled repairs and refurbishment projects. Manufacture items from own planning and drawings. Source, liaise and obtain quotations from suppliers and ensure product compliance to specifications and standards.
Manage and evaluate staff performance on an on-going basis. Manage administrative and related functions. Ensure compliance with Occupational health and safety. Conduct inspections, dam safety inspections and asset verifications.
