CIB Regulatory Advisory Specialist at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To create awareness amongst Business Compliance and Business regarding new legislation/regulations and legislative/regulatory changes, which are relevant to CIB and providing regulatory insights on new legislation/regulations, through a CIB lens. To assist Business Compliance to navigate and ensure alignment with reference to interpretative issues in relation to legislation/regulations and compile customized monthly regulatory reports which detail key Regulatory changes relevant to the respective Business Areas within CIB South Africa. To provide support to the Head, CIB Regulatory Advisory. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Degree in legal or related 

Experience Required:

• 2-3 years experience - The role requires an expert in Regulatory Compliance with extensive knowledge of the South African regulatory environment as it specially relates to Corporate and Investment Banking. 
• 2-3 years experience as a Specialist in relation to providing regulatory advice.
