REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• A completed National Diploma in Civil Engineering 
• Valid Code B driver's license 
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel) 
• No previous experience required 
• Ability to work under direct supervision, handle conflict, and maintain strict confidentiality 
• Proficiency in Afrikaans and English 
• Good human relations, interpersonal, and communication skills 
• A high level of responsibility and attention to detail

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 

• Planning and execution of visual assessments of paved and unpaved (gravel) roads according to TMH9 specifications. 
• Planning, arranging, and conducting traffic counts at specific locations Planning, arranging, and inspection of allancillary assets 
• Updating bridge inventory information Ensuring that projects are documented within the guidelines set out by the supervisor 
• Ensuring that tasks are completed according to schedule/programme 
• Attendance of meetings, reporting, and presentation of progress

SALARY: All-inclusive fixed-term contract package of R 110 000 per annum.
