Claims Service Consultant at Santam Insurance

What will you do?

• Register claims and make decisions regarding merit 
• Manage claims in terms of SLA’s 
• Appoint assessors if necessary
• Negotiate settlements 
• Daily estimate updates as well as note attachment to system
• Timeous and efficient management of inbox
• Liaise with brokers 
• Prompt feedback and handling of complaints (internal & external)
• Assisting with the loading of payments and bordereaux’s

• Be able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Have the ability to work well in a team
• Be able to actively encourage open and frank communication
• Be logically minded and have the ability to make informed decisions
• Subscribe to the purpose, vision, and values of the company

Qualification and Experience

• Matric 
• RE 5
• Short Term Qualification ( Preferably) 
• 2-3 years short term experience 
• Must have a minimum of 5-7 years claims handling experience 
• Good computer skills 
• Sound knowledge of Motor and Non-Motor claims processes
