Responsibilities
Check electrification projects
Inspect electrical systems and installations to verify compliance with approved designs, specifications, and regulatory standards.
Verify that all electrical materials and equipment used on the site meet required quality standards and are in line with project specifications.
Monitor contractors' adherence to occupational health and safety regulations during electrical installation processes.
Supervise and inspect new electrical service connections, ensuring they meet the required standards for safe operation and proper functionality.
Identify and report any instances of non-compliance with approved plans, specifications, or safety regulations.
Issue non-compliance notices or "tamping letters" to property owners for corrective action.
Show electrical services using the cable locator
Attend meetings for new projects
Planning for new mini- substation and kiosk
Provide reports on site matter, including inspections, progress, safety concerns and cause for delay
Provide a service at all times to the project manager, by ensuring that the standards of work and the materials supplied by contractors are as specified in accordance with the contract information
