WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Your role will incorporate a range of responsibilities, with the primary focus on delivering a high level of service for our Investments clients base.
Address queries from our international client base on Investments products (i.e. Share dealing, Smart Portfolios, Individual Savings Accounts, Exchange Traded Fund etc.) and multiple trading platforms
Address queries from prospects that are new to IG, using sales skills to understand their trading interests and promote our products and services
Dealing with various Corporate Action events
Provide front line support across written/verbal channels like emails, web chats, social media platforms and phone lines
Proactively engage with our clients about financial markets and our latest innovations
Investigate trading related charges and queries related to execution of orders
Perform administrative tasks for clients across a range of areas, including a fair amount of payment related queries, generating tax statements, reactivating accounts and transfers of accounts into IG
Provide first line technical support for IT related issues both for our platform and charts
Interact with our non-client facing departments in order to resolve client queries and provide accurate services
In doing so you’ll benefit from exposure to a vibrant, commercially driven environment, with development opportunities encompassing everything from client reactivation and retention, premium client service and dealing role.
WHO YOU’LL BE:
We are looking for someone with:
A degree-level education (any subject)
Experience of working in a customer facing role (Preferable)
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
A Sales background would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A logical and analytical approach to problem solving
Confident to employ basic math’s skills, particularly mental arithmetic.
Strong team player and time management skills
Literacy in MS Office
Can handle an administrative role
Ability to work well under pressure
