Climate Change and Energy - Practice head - Pretoria at DNA Economics

Job Description

DNA Economics continues to undertake meaningful work in the broader climate change and energy sectors, and we are looking for a practice head to lead and grow this work-stream. Practice heads at DNA are senior experts with management experience, and are expected to provide thought leadership, lead technical teams, contribute to the achievement of company revenue targets and undertake marketing activities in support of business development.

Requirements

Ideally, potential candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ policy consulting experience and be comfortable with client management, project and team management, and business development. Experience in one or more of the following areas is a necessity for potential candidates:

• Mitigation policy and practice
• Adaptation policy and practice
• Just transition
• Climate change risk and opportunity assessment
• Climate finance
• Carbon foot printing / CDP / TCFD reporting
• Energy conservation policy and practice
• Energy markets, pricing and regulation
