Clinical Group Patient Administration Manager- Africa Healthcare Head Office
Ensure the compliance to group working procedures and assist the business units in the development of unit specific standards, protocols and measures to manage the patient administration areas, including admissions, case management and bill auditing.
Manage and measure the quality and effectiveness of the billing function and disseminate the information to the group on a regular basis.
Manage the increased demands of the alternate risk strategy in the hospitals and to report and review on the DRG, Fixed Fee and Per Diem events billed by the hospital.
Day to day management of real time and financial process, including monitoring, reporting of performance, training of users and troubleshooting with funders and providers.
Measure and report on hospital compliance, discuss recommendations with management and ensure agreement of action plans.
Coordinate the collection of relevant data across the business and submit to internal and external parties as may be required from time to time.
Sponsor and drive quality programs throughout the Group.
Work hand in hand with key stakeholders in the business and across functions e.g. Reception, Finance, Nursing, Pharmacy, IT and Debtors Management teams to optimise team outputs.
Requirements
Relevant post matric qualification
SANC Registration as a Registered Nurse
Strong systems knowledge
Proficiency in business processes, compliance and governance
Previous experience in a similar role in private healthcare
Case Management experience at group level with formal ICD 10 and CPT training
Proven track record on group collections rate at 95% maintained within all parameters of Revenue Cycle Management and administration processes.
