    Retail Assistant Manager - CPT - Northern Suburbs

    JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 (Non-Negotiable)
    • Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business or related qualification will be advantageous

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a supervisory or leadership level.

    Key Performance Areas 

    • Stock Management.
    • Stock Ordering.
    • Place orders with factories and other suppliers.
    • Follow up on orders.
    • Manage deliveries, delivery dates and stock upon arrival.
    • Manage stock order volumes.
    •  Stock Receiving.

    Receive ordered stock.

    • Report delivery shortfalls, and damages.
    • Follow up on non-received stock.
    • Capture received stock on Meat Matrix.
    •  Stock controlling.

    Daily stock levels reporting

    • Run stock depletion  reports- cashiers.
    • Balance off with stock receiving.
    • Manage stock levels threshold.

    Housekeeping

    • Store cleanliness including, but not limited to all floors, bathrooms, office spaces, passageways, isles, packing areas, chillers, freezers, cashier till points and Deli (Hot Foods) area.
    • Always maintain high level of HACCP standards throughout the store.
    • Observe OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety) hazards and abide by the rules and regulations of the Act..

    Cash Management

    • Manage and keep the safe secure and locked at all times.

    Sales Coordinator

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Grade 12

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • Previous experience as a sales coordinator, telesales representative or sales/customer service-related role.

    JOB ACTIVITIES: 

    Customer Liaison

    • Accurately update customer information and or contact details required specifications 
    • Customer Orders (Take and capture orders in an accurate manner)
    • Document, resolve and escalate customer queries (including but limited to deliveries, pricing, etc.) 
    • Update call lists 
    • Up sale on every sales call made to customers

    Pricing 

    • Receive pricing / deals from Key Account and Accounts Manager and ensure the following:
    • Approved changes are affected
    • Approved deals are affected
    • Pricing register updated to specifications
    • Ensure the correct pricing is loaded on the system when placing orders for all customer channels

    Order Processing

    • Placing orders on the system once received from customers via phone.
    • Pull orders from different B2B system example: Spar, PnP, Checkers and Internal Butcheries. 
    • Capture orders receive on email and from Key Account Managers.

    Tracking Orders

    • Inform customers about Late deliveries. 
    • Inform customers on short / out of stock on deliveries. 
    • Inform customers if delivery dates need to be changed due no stock.

    Documentation

    • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
    • Safekeeping of all hard copy and soft cop documentation.

    Reporting

    • Close all open calls and make sure the customers did receive the stock.
