    CNC Operator

    CNC Operator

    • To support the output of precision manufactured components in a high-mix low-volume environment, adhering to high-quality standards through efficient, and effective, setting, operating and maintaining of CNC machinery.

    Your mission:

    Machine Setup and Operation:

    • Effectively setup and operate CNC mills, turning and live tooling machines according to the relevant specifications.
    • Perform initial setup checks to ensure proper alignment and calibration.

    Programming and Adjustment:

    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to understand production requirements.
    • Input, and adjust, CNC programs as needed to optimize production processes to achieve the desired targets while maintaining quality standards.

    Quality Control:

    • Perform regular, in and end of process, quality checks on manufactured components using precision measuring tools.
    • Identify and correct any deviations from specifications to ensure high-quality production standards.

    Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

    • Conduct, and assist with, routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance, reliability and longevity.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process to minimize downtime.

    Your Profile:

    • Technical qualification in machining or related field - Tool & Die, Machinist, Turner etc.
    • Training in Quality Control and Standards.
    • Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Blueprint interpretation:
    • Demonstrated experience in the ability to read and translate information into effective job planning approach and methodology.
    • Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerencing) standards and industry norms.
    • Proven experience in the setting up and operating of CNC machinery without supervision, while meeting the planning requirements and deadlines - Hurco experience is advantageous.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience
